Muddy Paws Midway Marvels Tournament 2026
A new team, Top Fuel BALnines, crossed the border to participate in the Muddy Paws Midway Marvel tournament in Salem Oregon on July 11-12.
Bailey, Nova, Pico and Freya were joined by Boises’ teammate Quiry, and Matsui’s teammate Fate. Despite having never run with Query, she fit right into the mix! We won some, we lost some, we did a lot of handler jugging but it was a successful weekend which included making new friends.
Pico achieved her Flyball Dog Champion-Gold and Query got her Flyball Dog Chamption-Silver. Freya got her own title from judge Steve… ‘beefcake’… he was shocked our boxloader didn’t go flying every time this ‘beefcake’ hit the box.
Leah, who is normally the team photographer, changed it up and was our full time boxloader. Her spouse Brooke was pivotal in our operations, wrangling the dogs not running so we could swap out dogs as needed. Captain Ashley took charge in her first tournament without Captain Sid, but it was all a team effort from everyone (and Captain Sid watched from afar).
